What is World Mental Health Day?

October 10th is World Mental Health Day - a special day to help raise awareness for mental health issues around the world. This year, the COVID-19 pandemic, has brought many challenges to not only healthcare workers, but to people from all walks of life. More than ever, people are struggling and feeling anxious about their futures, their health, and the general state of our world. The need for mental health support is increasing, and something that needs to be talked about.
Our mission at 3 Leaf Tea has always been to share our passion for wellness... because together, we can create a change within and beyond. Since 2016, we've donated 1% of all online sales to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation - a non-profit organization that is committed to funding mental health research to help others live full, productive lives. We want to take this day to thank each and everyone of you who has supported us in fueling that mission.
Today, we encourage you to start your own discussion about mental health, reach out to someone who might be struggling, or, take time to learn more about a mental health issue you don't know much about. Every action counts, and the more we talk and learn about it, the more we can create a change, together.
